YMCA Food Pantry
The YMCA holds a Food Pantry for families in need Tuesdays between 3:30 and 5:30pm. It is located at 1905 B. Woodman Court and can be identified by the YMCA magnet on the front door. This is only open to Woodman West families at this time. If you need are in need for food support, we do have a food pantry at our school. Please contact our counselor Ms. Cox at amcox@henrico.k12.va.us.
Candy Drive
Start sending in candy to pass out at our Truck or Treat/Movie Night on October 20. 15 pounds of candy = 5 house points!

Friday, October 6 - Gator Bash (2nd & 5th Grade)
Get ready for one of the best dance parities at Greenwood from 7:20 - 7:45 AM in the gym with 2nd and 5th grade.
Friday, October 6 - Spirt Cart (2nd & 3rd Grade)
This week, our spirit cart will be open to only 2nd and 3rd grade students from 7:20 - 7:45 AM.
Saturday, October 7 - Glen Allen Day Parade - Sign up here
The Glen Allen Day Parade is a school-wide event on October 7th, where you can wear your house shirts or Greenwood spirit wear! The PTA is looking for volunteers to help decorate our trailer on October 6th from 6-8pm at 4013 Tin Roof Way, Glen Allen VA 23059. If you would like to be a part of walking in the parade, everyone will meet at 9:00 at the Dollar General at the corner of John Cusson and Mountain Road. You might want to get there early to make parking easier, and then the parade starts at 9:30!

Students who raised $150 will have the opportunity to participate in a Glow in the Dark Gator Bash from 7:20 - 7:45 AM in the gym! Don't forget your dancing shoes.
Friday, October 13 - Glen Allen High School Football Game
Save the date! Our Advanced Drumline and Cheerleaders will be performing at the Glen Allen High School football game on Friday night under the lights. We invite the entire Greenwood community to come and enjoy the game. More details will come out this week about arrival time.
Regency Mile - Open to ALL Greenwood Gators - October 29, 2023
For the past 14 years, the Regency Mile is the largest timed youth road race in Richmond Click and our Greenwood Gators are going to participate! CLICK HERE to register your Greenwood Gator and please use the code "GES23" for $10 off the registration fee which will make it $15.
