Grading Reminder
I am writing to explain our grading process for 2nd to 5th graders concerning test retakes for scores of 69 or below. In such instances, your child will have the opportunity to rectify each missed question, earning back half the points, with a maximum score of 70%. At teacher discretion, an alternate assessment may be given to a student still with a maximum score of 70%. Please note that this procedure with retakes only applies to tests, not classwork or projects. Test corrections or the alternate assessment can only be completed at school after the teacher has provided remediation on the missed concepts. Students will have 48 hours to make all corrections or take the alternative assessment from the date and time of the assessment’s entry into PowerSchool. This positive approach aims to help students learn from their mistakes and progress in their educational journey. Morning Club Reminder
Just a friendly reminder for students participating in optional extracurricular activities, please ensure they arrive before 7:25 AM. Beginning September 26, late arrivals will not be accommodated. We strongly advise parents to drop off their students between 7:15 - 7:20 AM to ensure they arrive promptly.
