We are ready for week 4 of school! Please read our important Sunday reminders: 

  • Important School Reminders 

    • During morning drop off, parents should not get out of their cars if you are in our car drop off loop. 

    • Tardies: If you arrive after 7:40 AM, you must park your car and walking into the school to sign in your child. 

    • Early Dismissal: We do not take any early dismissals after 1:45 PM.

  • Mega Blast - Click HERE

    • We have raised $26,000 as of today. Our goal remains $45,000! Fundraiser closes September 22.

  • Hallway Music - Click HERE

    • We added more slots to sign up to play music in the mornings! Please share with your family and friends. We are looking for volunteers from 7:15 - 7:50 AM to play the guitar, piano, and drums.

  • Thursday, September 14: Parent Square Connection

    • We are asking all parents to either “Appreciate” and/or comment on your child’s Thursday communication in order for our team to know if you are receiving these essential weekly updates.

  • Friday, September 15: Grandparents Luncheon

    • We invite all grandparents to join our gators for a special lunch outside in our Gator Gardens. 

      • 9:50 AM: Kindergarten

      • 10:25 AM: 1st Grade and PK

      • 11:10 - 11:40 AM: 2nd Grade

      • 11:45 - 12:15 PM: 3rd Grade

      • 12:20 - 12:50 PM: 5th Grade 

      • 1:00 - 1:30 PM: 4th Grade

  • YaY of the Day - Recognize a Greenwood Staff Member  
    • Nominations are being accepted for HCPS employees to be recognized for the school division’s “Yay of the Day” honor. Recipients will be selected from nominees who, through actions big or small, have made someone’s day in a positive way.
