Please make sure your child has purchased their $3 green take home folder by this Friday. Your child will use this folder every day and it is highly recommended that all students have this communication folder.
Please send into school 3-5 family photos to be posted on your teacher’s belong bulletin board. We want all families represented by Monday, August 28.
Be on the look out for our one big school/PTA fundraiser coming home Friday in their green folder. This fundraiser supports our school with many different activities and projects supporting our students.
Morning club sign ups will be released on Sunday, August 27. As a reminder, several clubs do have a tryout process next week:
Monday, August 28: Advanced Dance (3rd-5th)
Tuesday, August 29: Advanced Drum (3rd-5th)
Wednesday, August 30: Cheerleading Tryouts (3rd-5th)
Thursday, August 31: Fearless Tryouts (K-5th)
August 31: the first Parent Advisory Committee meeting will be held in the library from 7:20-7:40 a.m. Come out and meet the members of the P.A.C. to get answers to questions you might have regarding upcoming events or Greenwood procedures. Please consider being a Room Parent! Room parents are a vital part of collaboration for our teachers to help plan holiday events and support our classrooms! If you would like to be a room parent for your child’s class, please reach out to your child’s teacher by Thursday, August 31st. Two parents will be selected at random, and your child’s teacher will communicate with you if you are chosen. All other interested parents are welcome to still attend and help out in the classroom with events!
