Only one more week until our students come back to Greenwood! We're really excited. Take a look at what's happening this week:
Thursday, August 17
New Family Meet & Greet @ 9AM (1st - 5th grade)
For all our new families, we extend a warm welcome. Please head directly to your designated homeroom teacher. At 9:30 AM, a parent orientation will take place in the gym, offering essential insights into the Greenwood experience.
Gator Homecoming from 11-12:30 PM (Returning 1st - 5th grade)
Familiar faces are invited back to their homeroom teachers for the Gator Homecoming event. It's an opportunity to reconnect and conveniently drop off school supplies before the year begins.
PK & Kindergarten Orientation @ 1PM
All PK and Kindergarten families will report directly to their teacher at 1:00 PM. Our administrative team will then host a parent orientation at 1:30 PM in the gym while the students remain with their teacher in the classroom to complete a special activity.
Sunday, August 20: The Night Before School Virtual Reading @ 6 PM
Mr. Stein is excited to have all students join him online for a special reading of a book titled "The Night Before School." This wonderful book was created by our entire staff to show you some of the amazing adventures waiting for you at Greenwood this school year. Plus, after the story, Mr. Stein will stay online to chat with parents and answer any questions you might have about the first day of school.

Monday, August 21: First Day of School
We thank our parents for making sure their gators arrive between 7:20 - 7:40 AM on the first day of school. If you were unable to attend our event on August 17, our Greenwood staff will be available to assist your child getting to their classroom with their school supplies.
