2023 Senior Convocation

  • Senior Convocation will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the gym. 
  • Seniors will arrive at 9:00 for a senior meeting in the auditorium before convocation.
  • Seniors will wear their graduation attire and graduation gowns for the ceremony.  
    • Graduation Attire: graduates will wear one of the following options whenever graduation gowns are worn:
      • white button down shirt, tie, black slacks, black socks, and black dress shoes,
      • black skirt with a white blouse and black dress shoes, or
      • white or black dress and black dress shoes.
      • jeans, khakis, sneakers, flip-flops, and floppy sandals are not permitted 
  • Parents attending convocation will enter through the commons doors, proceed through weapons scanners, and show identification to receive a visitor tag to attend the ceremony.  
  • After convocation, photographers from Strawbridge will be at Godwin to take the senior class group picture.  Here are is the form to order the picture.
  • Jostens will be at Godwin directly after convocation.  During this time, Jostens can answer any questions you may have about ordering official school graduation announcements and other senior items.
    • Last week your student received a small packet with an order form. Please review these materials and if you have any questions please see the Jostens representative on Wednesday. 
    • All items may be ordered online at www.jostens.com. Please note that official CUSTOM school announcements are only available until December 1st. If ordering in school with cash or check, please, do not forget to bring in the completed order form along with payment.
  • Seniors will be able to leave for the rest of the day after convocation and the senior picture as their senior privilege.  
  • We will have a senior parent and family virtual meeting on October 11th at 7 pm.  We will share the senior calendar, present information on ordering graduation announcements, and the school counselors will present information about our seniors becoming enrolled in college, enlisted in the military, or employed in the workplace. Click here to join the meeting
