Reston, VA – This past weekend, from April 4–6, ACE FBLA students showcased their exceptional talents at the Virginia State Leadership Conference held in Reston, Virginia. The event saw remarkable performances from students, with several qualifying for the upcoming FBLA National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California, scheduled for June 29 to July 2.
Among the standout achievers were Laurel Bowen, who secured 2nd place in the Journalism category, and Amaan Dhanani, who earned 3rd place in Mobile Application Development. Both students have qualified to compete at the national level.
Additionally, the team of Jayden Marcano, Richard Grandt, and Trez Winn achieved a commendable 5th place in the Coding & Programming category. They may also qualify for Nationals if higher-placing students are unable to attend.
Nigel Spears, representing ACE in the Organizational Management category, received participation recognition for his hard work and dedication, despite not placing in the top ranks.
Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is a nonprofit educational organization that prepares students for careers in business and business-related fields. Through academic competitions, leadership development, and educational programs, FBLA helps students develop essential skills and gain valuable experience.
