About the ACE Centers in Henrico Public Schools: Career and college prep classes are offered at Henrico County’s Advanced Career Education Centers. Henrico’s Advanced Career Education follows the National Career Clusters® Framework, which provides a vital structure for organizing and delivering quality CTE programs through comprehensive programs of study.
In total, there are 17 Career Clusters in the National Career Clusters Framework, representing more than 47 Career Pathways to help students navigate their way to greater success in college and career. As an organizing tool for curriculum design and instruction, Career Clusters provide the essential knowledge and skills for the 17 Career Clusters and their Career Pathways.
This framework also functions as a useful guide in developing programs of study that bridge secondary and postsecondary curricula and for creating individual student plans of study for a complete range of career options. It helps students discover their interests and passions and empowers them to choose the educational pathway that can lead to success in high school, college, and career.
We look forward to welcoming you and your family to this informative and engaging event.
