The Cosmetology II students from ACE at Hermitage showcased their exceptional skills and creativity at the State Fair of Virginia, earning accolades and recognition for their hard work and talent. Competing against students from across the state, these young cosmetologists stepped outside their comfort zones and excelled in various categories.
In the Overall Fantasy Look category, Layla Obey, Kendall Moore, and Addison Lavoie secured an impressive 5th place. Brielle Lewis demonstrated her expertise by clinching 3rd place in the Job Skill Demonstration category. In the Natural Hair Braiding category, Melany Rojas and Leeya Morton achieved 5th and 6th places, respectively.
Mr. Fox, along with the entire school community, expressed immense pride in these students’ achievements. “We are so very proud of them,” he said, highlighting the dedication and effort that led to their success.
