The culinary talents of Henrico County’s pastry students were on full display at this year’s state fair culinary competition. With 10 dedicated students submitting a total of 20 different items, their hard work and creativity paid off spectacularly as they brought home an impressive 8 ribbons.
Their ACE Instructor, Chef KC, proudly shared, “This year our 10 pastry students submitted 20 different items into the state fair culinary competition. And we won 8 ribbons!!”
This achievement highlights the students’ exceptional skills and dedication to their craft. The competition provided a platform for them to showcase their innovative and delicious creations, earning well-deserved recognition.

- 3rd place: Nicole Marsh for chocolate chip banana bread
- 3rd place: Evelyn Ramos for garlic baguette
