YAY ELLE REID! Elle Reid, a fifth grade teacher at Dumbarton Elementary School, is today’s “Yay of the Day” honoree. Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her recently at the school.
YAYWORTHY: Nominator Bobbie Coccaro said: “Elle is a first-year teacher and comes to school each and every day to make a difference. She is positive, thoughtful and kind. She cares deeply about her students and their educational as well as emotional needs. Elle is a team player who shares ideas and is always receptive to feedback. She is a blessing to our team! “She makes a positive difference every day! Working in a collaborative classroom as a first-year teacher is no easy task and Ms. Reid faces each day like a rock star. Her students love her and their lives are better because she’s part of their day.”
