Registering/Enrolling Your Student in Henrico County Public Schools

Delayed kindergarten enrollment: Do you have a child who will be 5 years old by Sept. 30, 2024, but won't enter kindergarten for the 2024-25 school year? Please let us know that you are planning to delay your child's enrollment for a year.

  • Follow this link to join the school division's ParentSquare notification system.

  • Select the "Delayed Kindergarten Enrollment Form for the 24-25 School Year."

  • Watch your email to activate your account and complete a secure notification form.

Welcome to Henrico County Public Schools. There are two ways to enroll your student: online (using PowerSchool) or in person.

Step 1: Enter your address in our School Locator tool to find the school for which your home is zoned. 

Step 2: Assemble the documents needed to register your student. Click on the "Instructions for Kindergarten Registration" or registration for grades 1-12 in the menu at the bottom of this page. 

Step 3: Complete the PowerSchool Enrollment form online or call your school to make an appointment with the registrar.
