To apply for admission to an HCPS specialty center, you must register to take the specialty center assessment test. The 2023-24 test includes three sections: reading, mathematics and writing. Students will have 45 minutes for each section of the assessment. Enrollment in testing sessions will be limited to 20 students.
Parents must register their student in advance for the specialty center assessment. Registration for testing will open Oct. 3, 2022.

Session 1: Wednesday, Dec. 7 from 9 a.m. to noon
Session 2: Wednesday, Dec. 7 from 1-4 p.m.
Session 3: Thursday, Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. to noon
Session 4: Thursday, Dec. 8 from 1-4 p.m.
Session 5: Wednesday, Dec. 14 from 9 a.m. to noon
Session 6: Wednesday, Dec. 14 from 1-4 p.m.
Location: All testing sessions will be held in the Multipurpose Room of the Eastern Henrico Government Building (Henrico County Public Schools Central Office), 3820 Nine Mile Road, Henrico, Va. 23223
