Job fairs scheduled before Valentine’s Day: Join HCPS on two February dates

Henrico, Va. Feb. 4, 2019 – They say one is the loneliest number. That’s why Henrico Schools is holding two job fairs in the days leading up to Valentine’s Day. The heart of the matter? Come check us out on two dates! Candy be any more obvious?
The Feb. 7 event is just for candidates for substitutes: substitute teachers, instructional assistants, clerical workers, licensed practical nurses and registered nurses. The substitute hiring event will be at the Eastern Henrico Government Center. Candidates are encouraged to bring two signed reference letters and other supporting documents. For classroom teacher substitutes, that means a transcript with your degree or degrees and the dates earned. Candidates should also bring their current license, if applicable. Candidates for nursing substitutes should bring their cards for CPR/AED and first aid.
On Feb. 13, we’re seeking candidates for full-time and part-time bus drivers, school nutrition workers and temporary instructional assistants. We also need qualified candidates for the school division’s Department of Construction and Maintenance. Come to Libbie Mill Library and talk with representatives from the HCPS Human Resources Department, as well as departmental representatives.
Don’t have bus driving experience? Qualified driver candidates will be paid as they train.
