Interested in teaching in Henrico County? Talk with school administrators at our major hiring event March 2

Henrico, Va. Feb. 14, 2019 – Teachers and other professionals interested in joining the HCPS team are invited to talk with administrators from schools across Henrico County at a major hiring event March 2 at Glen Allen High School. All 72 of Henrico County Public Schools’ schools and program centers will be represented at this special event, which drew hundreds of attendees in 2018.

While walk-ins are welcome, registration by Feb. 27 is strongly encouraged so that interviews with top candidates can be scheduled to take place at the hiring event.

We’re seeking teachers for all content areas for the 2019-20 school year, as well as school counselors, librarians, psychologists, social workers and nurses to join our family in schools throughout Henrico County. The school division will also be interviewing candidates for bus driver positions. Come talk with staff members from the school division’s human resources department, as well as representatives from individual schools.

Attendees are also encouraged to bring multiple hard copies of their resumes to share with school administrators.

Licensure Information Session: Are you interested in teaching but don’t have a license yet? During the teacher-hiring event, an information session about teacher licensure will be held in the auditorium from 10:30 a.m. to noon. You MUST register and bring your confirmation email in order to attend this special licensure information session, which is limited to 250 participants. Click here to complete the registration form.
