It’s a time of milestones for Holladay Elementary School. The Henrico County elementary school is celebrating its 50th anniversary, while it prepares for a construction project that will double the school’s size. Former students, teachers and administrators are invited back to Holladay May 1 to celebrate. Visitors will get a chance to reconnect with other Hawks, see photos and artifacts from the school’s first half-century, tour the school, enjoy refreshments and learn about the major addition planned for the campus.

The addition to Holladay will be built behind the existing school. Construction will start in the fall and the addition will open for the 2021-22 school year. Holladay students will continue to attend the school during construction.
