From cameras to commentary, HCPS students power basketball livestreams

There’s plenty of talent at Henrico County basketball games – off the court as well as on. Catch a livestream production of Friday’s Highland Springs/Varina game where students do camera work, color commentary, slow-motion replays, graphics and more. The production is being staffed by students at the Center for Communications and Media Relations. A live production of the Jan. 30 Mills Godwin/Hermitage game was handled largely by Hermitage students who are on the staff of the student-run HERM-TV and are enrolled in the high school’s Video and Media Technology class. Find out more about the student livestream productions.
