YAY KATHRYN HERSHBERGER! Kathryn Hershberger, history teacher at Pocahontas Middle School, is today’s “Yay of the Day” honoree. Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her recently at the school.
YAYWORTHY: Nominator Jelianys Monserrate said: “Being in her class always brightens my day. I was never a big fan of going to class, but she changed that. In her class I feel safe, and I can be myself. Mrs. Hershberger motivates me to learn more. She is a very understanding person and she always impacts my day in such a positive way. I’m extremely grateful because I got the chance to be her student.”
