A new series of vaccination clinics set for February and March will help those 5 and older get vaccinated
Henrico, Va., Feb. 9, 2022 — A new series of free COVID-19 vaccination clinics in February and March will provide convenient opportunities for those age 5 or older to get immunized against coronavirus. The first clinic will be held Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at Pinchbeck Elementary School. The clinics will provide doses of the two-part vaccine series, as well as boosters to those who completed their initial series at least five months ago. Those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to receive vaccines. The clinics are being organized by the Richmond and Henrico Health Districts in conjunction with Henrico County Public Schools and its partners that provide after-school programs: the YMCA, the Henrico Education Foundation and the Henrico Police Athletic League, or PAL. The clinics will be held at sites that host after-school programs, but all are open to the public.

Who can get vaccinated?
The clinics are open to members of the public who are 5 or older. Those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to receive vaccines. The 4-7 p.m. clinic times are designed to make it convenient for parents and guardians to be present for vaccines while picking up their children from after-school programs.
Do I need to register or provide consent?
Register and complete a consent form at the clinic. A state-issued I.D. is not required but will allow for faster registration.
What vaccines will be available?
Children ages 5-11 will receive the two-part Pfizer vaccine, authorized for that age group by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in November. The Moderna vaccine and Johnson & Johnson vaccine will also be available at the clinics. Clinics will also administer Pfizer and Moderna boosters to those who completed their initial series at least five months ago.
