YAY JULIE BUPP! Julie Bupp of Mehfoud Elementary School is today’s “Yay of the Day” honoree. Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored the instructional assistant recently at the school. She had multiple nominations!
YAYWORTHY: Nominator Jaleesa Pleasants said: “She has gone above and beyond the call of duty as an instructional assistant since the first day of school. One example is her flexibility in helping another class when we were short-staffed.”
Valerie Sigmund said, “From the beginning of this school year, she has put the needs of others first. I am a parent of one of her students, and I am also a coworker. I have been out on maternity leave, and Mrs. Bupp has gone above and beyond to help not only her own class, but to help in my class in my absence.”
Beth Reed said, “She is the epitome of a team player. Because of staffing shortages, Julie worked tirelessly between two classrooms without hesitation. She showed initiative, jumped in as needed, and established relationships with all of the students. I honestly could not have made it the first nine weeks without Julie’s support in my classroom, as well as her support for my mental health. She is most deserving of the Yay of the Day!”
Thank you for all you do, Julie Bupp, to make a positive difference and move HCPS forward!
