YAY JAMES CLARK! James Clark of Elko Middle School is today’s “Yay of the Day” honoree. Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored James recently at Elko.

YAYWORTHY— Nominator Alaina Gray said: “He brings positivity to the classroom and gets to know his students personally. A great example is when he jokes in the classroom with the class while teaching.”

Sharon Kemp-Hopkins said: “Mr. Clark is an amazing teacher. From day one he has gone above and beyond for me and my son. He never makes us feel like we are bothering him! He is my “Yay” every day! One small example: He stopped what he was doing and sent me links to get into all my son’s classes when we were having problems with virtual school. He is always ready and willing to help, no matter what.”

Holly Doustout said: “He always goes above and beyond for his students to help them succeed – even after they have left his class. He let us dump the water cooler on him after winning the East End girls’ soccer championship.”

Thank you for all you do, James, to make a positive difference and move HCPS forward!
