Each morning she logs into the classroom with a smiling face, ready to greet each student. She greets each student with a song and shows concern when students aren’t prepared. Her positive spirit is encouraging and gentle. The students are well behaved and she keeps their attention for hours.”
Jasmine Smith said: “She is truly amazing, dedicated, patient, loving, caring, hard working and an awesome person. “She always makes sure her students start their day by standing and saying the Pledge. She signs every morning to the kids and makes sure they are engaged throughout each lesson. She takes the time to focus on each student even during this unusual time. She allows the students to speak and provides feedback! As parent, who listens in, I often myself engaging in the lessons and singing along. Her students are rock stars because of her and I love how she tells each of her students that she loves them at the end of class! She is truly one of kind and deserving of this nomination.”
Thank you for all you do, Jackie, to make a positive difference and move HCPS forward!
