YAY SHELDON GLASSNER! Sheldon Glassner of the ACE Center at Hermitage is today’s “Yay of the Day” honoree. Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored Sheldon recently at the ACE Center.

YAYWORTHY— Nominator Mac Beaton said: “Sheldon deserves a ‘Yay of the Day’ because since March he has been in his graphics lab printing whatever is needed, not just for HCPS but all of Henrico County, with very short notice and tight timelines. He has never said no to any request and has consistently met all goals and made sure the work was done to expectations. From ‘stand here’ or ‘sit here’ stickers to printed copies of the HCPS Health Plan, he has consistently done the work with a smile and a sense of pride.

“A specific example of his positive impacts is when he printed 5,000 programs for the ‘Graduation Victory Lap’ at the Richmond Raceway, in less than 3 days, individualized by schools. These programs became memory books for many students. While he did this work all behind the scenes, his contributions made the event very memorable for the students.”

Thank you for all you do, Sheldon, to make a positive difference and move HCPS forward!
