Henrico, Va., Nov. 13, 2020 — On Tuesday, students in grades 7-12 and their families will have a chance to connect virtually with energy employers across the region at Henrico County Public Schools’ Life-Ready Expo: Energy. Talk with employers and learn about lucrative career opportunities for students, the corresponding educational requirements as well as compensation. Ask questions and learn more about the rapidly evolving field of energy.

Registration is recommended. Students can register and employers can sign up by going to https://henricocte.com/. The virtual event will be conducted using Microsoft Teams. Last year, Henrico County Public Schools’ first Life-Ready Expo was recognized by the National Association of Counties for its innovation. The event attracted thousands of HCPS students and families and 150 participating businesses, government agencies and other groups. This year the Expo has been split into smaller virtual events organized by theme. The event is sponsored by HCPS’ Department of Workforce and Career Development.
