The two-week closure was made to prioritize the safety of students, staff members and the community during the coronavirus public health crisis. Before reopening, school division officials will evaluate the situation using the latest information from health officials. There will be no school for students Monday, and HCPS teachers and staff will use the day to continue preparations for student instruction using “virtual learning” experiences. On Tuesday, students will resume instruction remotely using digital and nondigital methods.

Information can be found as it becomes available at Henrico Schools’ coronavirus webpage, henricoschools.us/covid19/.
