Henrico, Va. Oct. 16, 2019 – Come to Henrico County Community Day Saturday at Henrico High School and take in a variety of giveaways, demonstrations, entertainment and more.

The free event, organized by Henrico County and Henrico County Public Schools, will offer residents an opportunity to learn more about their local government and school system, and to interact with officials. Representatives of more than two dozen departments and agencies will attend.

Community Day will also feature giveaways, displays and equipment demonstrations as well as a kids’ zone, with inflatables, Henrico County Police and Fire vehicles, Henrico County Public Library’s Mobile Library Service and Henrico County Public Schools’ Big Blue Bus. A disc jockey as well as high school marching bands, cheerleaders and dance teams will provide entertainment. Food trucks will have concessions available for purchase.

Parking for the event will be at Richmond Raceway, 5901 Richmond-Henrico Turnpike, in Lot H, Gate 12. A free shuttle service will carry guests to and from Henrico High School.
