Stop by a job fair Thursday at the definitely air-conditioned Eastern Henrico Recreation Center and talk with HCPS human resources representatives, as well as representatives from other departments.

We’re seeking candidates for bus drivers and school nutrition workers, as well as teachers in critical areas such as English, Spanish, math, technology, family and consumer sciences, and special education. We’re also seeking temporary instructional assistants, and our extended-day program needs great candidates for temporary teachers and instructional assistants.

Candidates for full-time and substitute bus drivers must: be at least 21 years old; have a valid Virginia driver’s license; obtain a CDL Class B instructional permit or hold a CDL Class B license with endorsements in P (Transporting Passengers)/S (School Bus) and airbrakes; pass a physical and drug test and have no felony convictions.
