Henrico, Va. April 4, 2019 – Of course April showers bring May flowers – and for people who want to be part of a team making a difference, they also bring a downpour of job possibilities. If you’ve mist being part of your community and don’t want to simply follow the cloud, consider a position as an HCPS bus driver or school nutrition worker. Rain or shine, our drivers and cafeteria workers are key members of the Henrico Schools team.

Representatives from the HCPS Human Resources Department and departmental representatives will be on hand April 9 at Eastern Henrico Recreation Center. We’re eager to talk to candidates for full-time and part-time bus drivers and school nutrition workers.
Don’t have bus driving experience? Qualified driver candidates will be paid as they train.

Candidates for full-time and substitute bus drivers must: be at least 21 years old; have a valid Virginia driver’s license; obtain a CDL Class B instructional permit or hold a CDL Class B license with endorsements in P (Transporting Passengers)/S (School Bus) and airbrakes; pass a physical and drug test and have no felony convictions.
