Henrico Schools will hold two stakeholders’ meetings Tuesday to get community views on the school division’s budget for the 2019-20 school year. The two meetings will be held concurrently in different parts of the county, to provide convenience for people wishing to comment.
Both stakeholders’ meetings will feature a short presentation by HCPS staff members and will be followed by a chance to comment and ask questions.
The two stakeholders’ meetings, in the Brookland and Fairfield districts, conclude a series of budget input sessions held in each of Henrico County’s five magisterial districts. Additionally, the second of two public hearings is scheduled to take place before tomorrow’s monthly School Board meeting at New Bridge Auditorium.
The stakeholders’ meetings and public hearing are open to the public. If you are unable to attend an input session, you can still offer input by contacting the school division’s budget office at email@example.com or by calling 804-652-3633.
The school division will develop a budget proposal using feedback from stakeholders. The superintendent’s budget proposal is scheduled to be released in January.
