Henrico, Va. Sept. 10, 2018 – Amy Cashwell, Henrico Schools’ new superintendent, will hold five town hall meetings this fall to talk with members of the public. Cashwell will begin the meetings with a short presentation about the school division’s four cornerstones: safety and wellness, academic growth, equity and opportunity, and relationships. She will also discuss HCPS’ new strategic plan; Henrico Schools’ new learner profile; and the school division’s new emphasis on a “deeper learning” model for students. The presentation will be followed by time for attendees to ask questions and share ideas. Attendees are encouraged to bring questions relating to these or other areas. There will be a town hall meeting in each of Henrico County’s five magisterial districts.
