Select 2018-19 courses using PowerSchool Parent Portal


In late January and early February, Henrico Schools will once again use the PowerSchool Parent Portal for students and their parents or guardians to make course selections for the fall of 2018. Parents or guardians of rising sixth- through 12th-grade students will review teachers’ core course recommendations and make course selections using the portal’s “Class Registration” icon. Families can select both core and elective courses. Computers, smart phones or tablets can be used to make selections. The portal also provides easy access to class grades, attendance records and student schedule information.

Parents of students currently in grades 5-11 who don’t already have a PowerSchool Parent Portal account will need to create one in order to access course requests for the 2018-19 school year. Course selections through the portal must be completed during the following windows:

Students currently in grade 5: The window will open on Jan. 30 after 7 a.m. The window will close Feb. 9 at 10 p.m.
Students currently in grades 6-11: The window will open on Feb. 5 after 7 a.m. The window will close Feb. 16 at 10 p.m.
