Henrico County Public Schools (HCPS) welcomes the opportunity to partner with external organizations (i.e., institutions of higher education, businesses, etc.) on grant proposals that benefit the division‘s teachers and students. The grant proposal must be submitted to the Office of Grants Coordination (OGC) for review and approval prior to submission to the grant funder whether or not HCPS is named as a formal recipient of the grant funds. (Applications for Henrico Education Foundation (HEF) funding are submitted to the HEF program officer, not OGC.)
Following the established approval process will ensure that: 1) the project is consistent with Division goals, objectives, and program efforts; 2) the Division has the capacity to accomplish the proposed activities; and 3) the grant conditions and stipulations can be met without conflicting with Board policies or with State and Federal law.
