The Henrico HEROES program promotes quality mentoring for Henrico County Public Schools students. The program facilitates nurturing one-to-one relationships and community support. Henrico HEROES helps HCPS students develop their potential and make informed, responsible decisions as members of the community.

It is important that effective mentoring relationships be sustained consistently. The program seeks individuals interested in committing their time to grow with a student over one school year. The commitment of volunteer mentors enables Henrico HEROES to offer unique opportunities to HCPS students. What is Henrico HEROES?

Helpers Engaged in Reaching Our Evolving Students connects HCPS students with mentors, building one-to-one relationships and increasing community support. The program has been helping youth develop their potential and become productive members of the community since 2009.

Who do HEROES serve?

The program serves HCPS students. Students deserve developmental support as they grow and build on their strengths. HEROES are matched with students of varying ages and grade levels.
