Henrico County Public Schools is updating its strategic plan to guide the school division for the next several years. All community stakeholders, including students, families, employees and interested citizens are invited to participate. 

WHAT IS THE STRATEGIC PLAN? The new plan for the years 2018 through 2025 will build on the current 2015-18 strategic plan which includes the school division’s cornerstones of Student Safety, Academic Progress, Closing Gaps and Relationships. To view the current 2015-18 strategic plan, click here.

The new plan will provide a broad framework for the direction and priorities of Henrico County Public Schools, including:

  • Vision Statement
  • Mission Statement
  • Defined Cornerstones
  • Goals Aligned with Cornerstones
  • Prioritized Strategies Aligned with Goals
  • Desired Outcomes; How to Measure Each Goal

ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES: There will be additional opportunities for community input including school-based focus groups, community input events that are open to the public, online comments and at least one public hearing. Henrico County Public Schools will communicate those opportunities using email, social media, news media, school-based resources and this web page.
